VAT

In previous years, Bookkeepers Summit tickets were exempt from VAT because the event was sold directly by ICB, falling under our VAT exemption as a recognised UK educational institution.

This year, however, tickets are being sold through our event management company, Redactive. Under VAT rules, when a third party sells tickets on our behalf, the exemption no longer applies and VAT must be charged at the standard rate. If your organisation is registered for VAT then you can usually claim back any VAT you pay.

We’ve worked to keep prices as low as possible despite this change, and we appreciate your understanding.
