Bookkeepers empower businesses

Global Bookkeeping Week

16-20 November 2020

Global Bookkeeping Week celebrates the profession and the vital work bookkeepers do to support micro and small businesses on a global scale. All the way from Melbourne to Manila, we're working together to raise the profile of bookkeepers by hosting events, twitter conversations, coffee mornings, and the first-ever virtual Bookkeepers Summit.

Download our toolkit to get all the information you need to start getting involved with Global Bookkeeping Week 2020. It includes information on this year’s themes, logos, and templates for social posts, as well as guidance for how you can join in and drive the conversation on social media throughout the week.

Raise a cup

RAISE A CUP on Wednesday 18 November at ICB's Virtual Coffee Meetup and share your selfies on social media! Join us in raising a cup of coffee (or your preferred beverage) for bookkeepers across the world. If you're attending the Bookkeepers Summit, take part in our selfie competition to show your solidarity and love for your profession.  You can tweet a selfie from your home office, kitchen table, local cafe, or even client's office.

Whether you’re with bookkeepers, at a college, in the Shard, or out and about, post your selfies using #GlobalBookkeepingWeek and #RaiseACup and include our twitter handle @ICBUK

Attend the Bookkeepers Summit

Book your ticket for the Bookkeepers Summit taking place online during Global Bookkeeping Week and offering two days of learning, inspiration and networking.

Tweet about why you're attending the 11th Annual #BookkeepersSummit and what it means to be #NotjustabookkeeperanICBBookkeeper

Share your success stories

Talk about what you're doing to support, train, employ, work as, or become a bookkeeper. Fly the flag for bookkeepers as the future of a strong economy.

Post on your website, blog, social media channels or send a piece to Accounting Web, Accountancy Age, PQ Magazine, or your favourite business press using the hashtag #GlobalBookkeepingWeek and ICB's handle @ICBUK (@ICB UK on LInkedIn)

You can use the social media post templates from our downloadable toolkit.
